Ancona Ducks

I've been being really quiet ad talking nice and calmly to the ducklings, moving slowly and bringing them shredded lettuce and chopped grass. I have now gotten all three of them to fall asleep in my hand as I hold them and stroke there heads. I think that's a good sign there imprinting! Kristof took longer to get use to me holding her. Freaked her out! I think it's because she was five days old before we got her
 


Here's a pretty recent pic of our quartet! It's been super warm so we've been letting them out into the yard to get acquainted with their future hang outs. I may have gotten too much sun today XD But they had shade and water and PLENTY of greens. It's so funny taking them out because they get into the brooder and crash out XD

my two anconas and pekin. Does any one know their ages. Ive had them for about a month or so but not sure how old they are when I got them. They have almost all their feathers
 
well these shipped ancona duck egg's are doing great and are veining out like they are suppose to. take notes Meyers










this is the only egg that looks strange the veins start at the air cell unlike the other eggs. a possible blood ring maybe?

Almost does seem the start to a blood ring. Sorry. But you still have some nicely growing ones to watch grow and develop impatiently!
