So, some of these will be Purebreds and some maybe crosses because they were accidentially let out together one day for a few hours. So, around July 9th I will know what we have.

This is my first time incubating my duckie eggs so I am excited about this...cannot wait to see the new babies and I hope and pray I am doing everything right.

I know I am very excited...I just worry over them because there are differences between incubating chicken and ducks and this the first time for ducks.

Getting closer now to seeing them though.

I could not believe there was a pip on egg 5 already and the baby was moving around like it was in a soccer game. So, here we go.

Well today is day 28, officially begins in one hour, I think my early pipper has passed away. This morning there were pieces of the pipped shell gone and it appeared yellowish with some blood in the opening. It is also looking very dry (Humidity is staying between 74% - 76% consistenly). So, I have placed a moist cloth around the egg and moistened the exposed membrane a bit and left it in. Poor thing battled long and hard, chirping loudly and strongly until after 3 am...but it pipped nearly 48 hours ago so I am not holding out much hope for the little one....plus there is no movement today and it is not responding to my chirping at it.

No other visible pips as of yet but I am staying positive. Come on lil duckies
