So how did they turn out? I made the mistake of getting two Ancona and two Exchequer Leghorns at the same time (females from Meyer hatchery). As chicks they were identical. Now at ten weeks. two of them are larger than the other two. Two have yellow legs and the other two have black flecks on the yellow. They still all have an equal amount of black and white. They are starting their 10 week molt and I am hoping that their adult plumage will reveal which is which.
