I know there are pet transportation services offered online that will taxi animals. It's sad that these guys are so hard to find.
Doing something like that would make me a bit nervous for the ducklings, as I haven't even shipped them before and that would be a long drive. Have you looked at any hatcheries that have them and can ship?

Also, a Google search brought up this place in Texas: https://m.facebook.com/100054444086983/

That's the thing- they are listed as unavailable at every hatchery (aside from the fact I only need 5 and they charge a $45 small order fee). I could try to give them a call tomorrow. I was wanting good natured egg layers (have you seen egg prices?!!), foragers, and pets. I love the look and characteristics of these guys. Internet search does not bring up anything for Texas. I don't have FB so I didn't know that was available.

Feed prices are up too, so having laying ducks may not help you with egg prices. But they are good foragers and definitely beautiful ducks. Mine are more stand-offish than my hatchery mix flock, but are still calm. If I come across any more breeders that ship or are closer to Texas I'll let you know.
