I've gotten a hold of some chukar eggs. Can they be raised with chickens? hens only? Do they need additional heating and how are they as egglayers?

No they are gamebirds and need to be kept separate from chickens. They do not need heat, they are very hardy birds.Depending on where you are,if your hatching now,the chicks may not be ready for temps in 6 weeks. They need to be in 95 degrees the first week and drop 5 degrees each week.So if your temps are not 70 degrees in 6 weeks you will need to brood them longer.Beware chukars are cannibals just like ringneck pheasants so they will need lots of space and hiding places.
