This was the scene in my backyard on Friday. A parade of 24 wild turkeys headed straight for the chicken run. My flock was locked up though so the only interactions were thru the fence. But it sounded like chaos out there. Chickens clucking like crazy and turkeys gobbling. Kind of hilarious actuallly!

what amazing turkeys! and the view too. but the turkeys!!!! We never have that many around here at one time. We'll have a flock of maybe 5 or 6.

What would wild turkeys do to your chickens if they had been outside?

Do they attack people?

I dont know what they would do. But I think my chickens would have hid. They will attack if you get them cornered. But they run away before you can get that close. It is amazing to see them though. We also have a large herd of mule deer that hang out back there too.
