I thought RIR 'cause my RIR also has the same coloring and just shed out the darker tail feathers/red-with-darker-blackish-sections. The only difference is your girl has huge feet!

RIRs seem to be more chestnutty or mahogany colored; the NHR pics I've seen online show them as more of a cinnamon.

Hatchery Type R.I. Red (they may have some Brown Leghorn in them to add to egg production & darker color) also with the dark hackles, dark wing bow, and the saddle feathers starting to curl I question it being a hen at this time.

At 17 weeks, a roo would have far more in the comb and wattle department. She does have honking great feet, though!
