Alright! So the metal roof and the flashing is up! Tomorrow the gutters and getting the siding painted)

Funny story, I’m unsure why but I agonized over the colour of the metal roofing.... what colour is my roofing? Doesn’t matter! You can’t see it, lol.

Question! I recently found out that I may also be able to have up to five bantam chickens as well. I would not put a total of 10 chickens in our run, but we were considering making a smaller coop, and smaller nest box off the opposite side of the run to have a few silkies, should they want a lower coop and smaller nest boxes. That would put me up to 6-7 chickens in a sum total 92 sq.ft. area (that includes the two coops, without the coops it would be 80 sq.ft.). Is that enough room to have healthy, happy chickens, who get to come out for free range time only when we are home? And do you think the silkies would use their own next box if given the chance?
