We're about six hours into Day 19 now..the eggs are still rocking. I was watching one then another rock then I got the sound and picture of someone doing Carol of the Bells in my head and every time the bell would ring, an egg would rock in the bator, LOL! Carol of the Bator?

Do you ever give your bators a break?

I don't hatch that much, really. The last couple of months have been busy trying to hatch chicks for myself to keep and between the customers for hatching eggs, I haven't been able to get many at one time, so I've had alot of 'staggers'. My last hatch before these was back in April, so my bator was down for awhile. I was also custom hatching chicks for someone and have another customer to do that for in the spring, plus I have my own couple of hatches I need to do this spring. THEN, my bators will be put out of commission for quite awhile.

Day 20 starts in about an hour. I'm on intense bator-watch now. I'm betting on a BR or a Blue Orp/Buff Brahma to pip first since the pure Blue Orps seem to take their time.
