I have never used Cina, I have tried in the past some herbal wormers. They may be somewhat helpful as a preventative, but they were not effective at all in actually treating a parasite load. I would recommend the chemical wormers if you want to be sure. If you choose to use a 'natural' treatment then I would highly recommend that you have a fecal test done afterward to make sure it was effective. Just because you don't see worms in the droppings does not mean that they are not there. Most of the time you will not see them, they will live their entire life cycle inside the bird. The fecal will look for the microscopic eggs, which will tell if they are present. Roundworms are also very easily picked up in the environment, the eggs survive a very long time in the soil, so reinfection is always a possibility, you may have to worm regularly to keep them controlled based on the load in your environment.
