Angel wing in call duckling??

Opinions on if this is the start of angel wing?? 1 month old Call Duckling

Are the wings starting to stick out? if you can get a picture of the wings from behind that would be perfect.

I was worried about a duckling of mine that looked similar. It was just her old down feathers being pushed out. I suspect that is all you are seeing. I expect it to be gone in a week.

I will have to try to get another picture. She's the youngest of the 3 ducklings I hatched and the wings don't quite look like the other two. But I will give it a few days and see if it changes

Mine looked like this for a few days to a week but once the feathers came in they look perfect now out of the 3 young ones I have 2 did it one never did
I’ll add pictures of the before and now
I do have a drake that has angel wing as I really didn’t know much when I first got ducks
Now I take them off starter feed and put them on grower at 2-3 weeks and this helps to prevent it
My boy that has it his wing stuck out more then that it wasn’t as close to the body we did try to correct it but he wouldn’t cooperate with the vet and the vet wrap
