Angel Wing

My new little duckling appears to have angel wing. I have wrapped them with vet wrap before, but was thinking of cutting up a sock and using that. Has anyone tried that? Thanks.
I think anything that will hold the wing in place will be fine.

Yes I used a flimsy dress sock at night for a couple nights in a row. Just slipped the end over his head like I would put a sock on my foot. I sat for awhile watching him and made sure he could walk and breathe ok. I picked black because they are black and I know they can be relentless to each other if something is different. I tried the vet wrap but I was terrible at it.

Do you have a photo of your duckling?

These are pretty dark, but hopefully you can see. The duckling is pretty dark.

How old is your duckling? From what I have read it starts to show up at around 8 weeks.
My ducklings have feathers that come out from their body under their "chicken wing" as I call it. But, these feathers are their adult feathers.

Thank you. I thought they were sticking out a bit. I will keep and. Eye on him. He is a four week old Call Duck.

I would definitely wait a bit and keep an eye on it. I bet it is new feather growth at this stage.
