angel wing

I was on here reading about angel wing and I saw something about feeding alfalfa. I'm not sure if my ducks have it because their feathers are still coming in. So will it hurt to add alfalfa to their diet anyway? Also they are being let out of their kennel into a larger grazing area and they haven't eaten much of their food in these past few days are they getting enough nutrition? I put the food away at night when they get locked up in the kennel.

I think it'd be fine to let them graze on the alfalfa for part of the day.
