Angel Wing?

Hello,
I have two black Indian runner ducks and the one I believe to be the girl appears to have angel wing.
When she is sitting they poke up in air both sides,
Can I do anythink to stop this?
They are 8 weeks old now.

I noticed it for first time yesterday,
Is it normal to just come on like that.
What can cause it?

No it's not normal. Some people believe it is hereditary but most of the time it's caused by too much protein. That's why it's less common in with raised on pasture.

There on a grower pellet, with 15% protein.
Is that to much?

No that's not too much. However, protein levels in the birds aren't just based on the feed. If they didn't have lots of exercise when they were younger it may have been harder to use up the protein in their bodies leading to excess protein levels.

O rite, well il try banging it up,
I had them from 4 weeks and they have the run of a
Paddock, they aren't the most active ducks in the world however.
