Hey Everyone...
I have 2 rouen ducks that are just about 2 months old now and over the last few weeks I have noticed that one ducks wing doesnt sit right... It sticks out a lot, instead of sitting against its body... I will try to post a pic as soon as I can!

From what I have read I believe it may be angel wing.....

Pretty sure they are being fed chciken layer (my mom handles this)

My question now is what do I do? Is it painful or harmful to the duck?... Do i need to change their diet.... Soes anyone have a pic of a duck with angel wing?

Thanks in advance for your help!

angel wing is not painful and only way it could be harmful is if the caught the wing on fencing or other things and ripped their wing or feathers out.

so here is a pictorial on how to take care of angel wing, it has to be done before wing feathers are completely grown in.

Layer should not be fed to any poultry under say 20 weeks or one that isn't laying. way to much calcium they need either grower finisher or an all flock and once they begin to lay then you can continue feeding either of these and use oyster shell for the calcium or laying feed once they have begun to lay.
