Animal control is on its way...Update post 73...

My old neighbors had a dog that was killing goats and my cat. A couple of complaints to the owner was "you can't prove it was my dog" (even though it was laying over one of the dead goats).
A couple complaints to Animal Control was to do nothing.
I complained for almost a week straight cause if my son walked home from the bus, the dog would chase him.
Poetic justice was the day animal control FINALLY came to give her a warning, got one leg out the the truck, and the dog bit him.
The owners were so mad at the neighbors for calling AC on them, that they moved and their house is now forclosed on.

Glad they took the dog. Tried and True all animal lover here but I would load up my shot-gun with rock salt the next time...that'll burn his ass good.

Wow, what a bad situation--it's a hard choice to make, whether or not to kill the dog, which is only doing what dogs do, or take pity on it.

Owner just here looking for dog. I told him that dog was running horses, he wasnt home so I called AC... He hung his head and said..."I know. I caught him running them twice this week".

In fairness, he has tried everything known to man to chain this dog. I have never in my life seen a dog this strong. Even those collars with the spikes on the inside wont hold him. He has torn up everything that they have used. I've seen him dragging a log chain behind him while chasing my chickens...a monster log chain!

I told him tonight that he better buy a kennel for him. And then chain him in it!

This dog has even broke out of their house! He kept hitting the door until it popped. Now the door opens both ways...omg!

I would see that as a liability...he sort of thinks its cool to tell everyone how strong his dog is...

He apologized for the 19th chicken that got eaten

How about a shock collar for the dog and two control units? One for you and one for the neighbor? Then I would put the dog in situations where you know he will be bad and let the training begin.
