I know there have been posts about annoying co-workers before, but this girl I share an office with deserves her very own thread. She is so annoying. Every morning she is at least 15 minutes late most the time more like 30 or 45 minutes, she always walks through the door rolling her eyes because she doesn't want to be here. She turns the thermostat down to 69 and turns her radio up so that people down the hall can hear it.

She always uses the speaker phone, and sometimes even watches shows on her computer. So I am sitting here freezing, with her loud radio, her speaker phone with whatever personal call she is on, and a tv show blasting in an office thats probably 20x20 (which we have students and perspective students walking in and out of, it a school).

I don't know how many times I have asked her to please be considerate of our shared space, but she thinks I'm just cramping her style. I have to hear about how much she hates her husband and is only with him so she dosen't have to move in with her mom, who does everything for her by the way. She lives 30 miles away, but will drive here to have her daughters car inspected... but that's a whole nother discussion...

She drives me nuts, she is 32 years old and acts like she's 16 and the world revolves around her.

The worst part... I sit by the printer in our office, everytime she comes by to get something from it, she touches my hair. Last time she did it, I almost decked her, but didn't, I politely asked her not to do it naymore (for the 30th time). Oh, and she leaves pages that have printed, but she doesn't need on the printer (she goes through all of the pages and only takes the ones she wants) I did not print out the other pages, I do not want them.

There I am done, maybe now there will be no blood shed.

Thanks for reading.

Everyone else just ignores it and sings her praises... Now you got me on a whole nother topic...

The quick version is that she prepares lots of documents for public display, they always have typos and are just not very professional... No one says anything to her, they will ask me to make changes to it or to just take it down and not replace it.

Right now we don't have an immediate supervisor, but the one we had before (that just recently quit) ignored her behavior because she didn't want to cause any problems with her... She's mean as a snake if she doesn't get her way.

Wow my friend works in a college and before she switched to the theater office she was int he same boat as you! the coworker did almost ALL of those same things minus the head touching, and I did worry that I would need to visit my friend in prison some day. I hope that you get some relief soon!
