Is there any way to get rid of that stupid display bar, make it recede, anything? It is a pain to type replies on a smartphone because the thing blocks the writing window.

I don't see a banner. Are you using it horizontally? That's what appears to be the issue. There isn't enough room for the keyboard and text box to show when it's viewed horizontally.

Yes, in landscape mode I see what you're seeing. For now the best option is to move your phone into portrait mode to reply. We'll look into adding an option-per-user to remove the top floating navigation bar.

I like typing in landscape mode, but okay.
