The chicks are growing fast! They are almost 5 weeks old and just about ready to head outside. We started with 47 and have lost 3. The rest look great.

Here is what the "rare" chick is growing into. Any idea's as to breed???? I'm guessing a girl.

"Rare chick" looks like an EE to me.

From what I can see, all girls except maybe the one in the last pick on the right of the feeder with its bum turned towards us. I think I see a reddish larger comb than the rest on that one from this angle.

Although now that BR is making me wonder b/c I have BR a bit older and they have no combs at all. Hmmm...
