Ok so earlier I posted about my baby Wilbert sneezing and coughing and everything..... well I just got done feeding him I picked him up to put him back into his little home and when he put his head down a lot of liquid came out of his mouth....it looked like the food but liquified....is this cause for concern? Should I take him to a vet? Could it be respiratory? Does this happen sometimes?

This happens sometimes especially if the crop is over filled.
How do I stop this from happening? How do I know when to stop feeding him? He typically stops on his own but should I stop him at a certain amount? Also do you think he will be alright? The coughing and rasp is really worrying me!

If he isn't controlling his own intake, the make a judgement about stopping him before he gets too full. Eg, if you normally feed him 5 minutes, then just feed him 4 minutes. Or if time is not a good measurement as he gets older, then if you normally feed him X amount, then feed him X-Y amount.

How is he doing now?:)

Sorry I haven’t been on lately! He is doing fantastic! Has basically feathered out and he loves the peas and then he is starting to eat the crumbles by himself it won’t be long before it’s time for my baby to leave the nest!!!!
