Tamest rooster breed?

Brahmas and Buckeyes are supposed to be low-key. I'm raising some of each this year, so I'll have more info on them next year.

I’m thinking of buying some new roosters, last time I bought some they became aggressive, what is the tamest breed? Is it because I have hens and should I separate the hens from the roosters

cochins are generally tame

I had some salmon favorellas that where as sweet as could be. Like little puppies

Bantam cochins are my absolute favorite. They are funny little boys, and are easy on the hens. I don't handle my rooster when young, and I see no aggression from them.

Raise some chicks and weed out the rotten ones to get a good one.
The selection and elimination process will be different for everyone

I've heard silkie roosters are angels, but I don't know if you like bantams. My current Ameraucana/Barred Rock is an sweetie and so was his Barred Rock dad and grandpa.
