Ginger red is a color.

Looks like an OEGB with its tail removed, or a mutt.

Yes, I know ginger red is a color. I'm pretty sure all chicks aren't born the color they will be as adults. Guess I need to google it and see if I can find out what a ginger red chick looks like. It's probably some other variety, but that's the one I was hoping for.

While I'm certain it's a possibility that a mishap could have occurred, as far as I could tell all the man's breeding pens were kept separate and I'm not anticipating any mixed breed chicks.

My Welsumer chicks look a lot like that, but it's a fairly common pattern for chicks.
