Can I retrain my cats to use the litter box?! They are driving me crazy! I am about to toss them into kitty jail for a couple of weeks with their litter boxes and see how it goes.
It's not just pee, it's poo and it's in my kids play room! I am *this* close to bringing someone to the shelter.

I hear ya...

I hear you. My cats have been peeing on our counter, and by our front door. There is even a litter box by the door, duh!!! I want to just wring their necks!! Its not just male cats, its even the female ones, all are fixed too! What gives? I'm with you, throw them out in the trash!!

I have to go through my kids play room tomorrow and rip it apart. I don't even want to think about how much stuff I am going to have to throw out. They haven't used the play room in a bit, but we just went in there and it reeks! The rug is definately a goner. I am so sick of this! I haven't had a day where I didn't clean up animal poo in my house in over a year! It's EXPENSIVE too! Buying all of the cleaners and that.

I am so done.

I know it. If I even leave my purse on the dining room table for even just a short while, one of the demons will pee in it!!

They also like to poop in the dirtly laundry basket. So dead...........

Just a suggestion, but first take the cat(s) to the vet to check for any physical problems that are causing them to deviate from using the litter box. Cats are naturally clean animals and will want to use a clean litter box. The only cat I ever had that would go somewhere other than in the litterbox had a medical issue. Also, sometimes it happens if you've recently brought a new cat into the household.

We have had to banish one of our cats to the yard. I don't know what came over her, but suddenly she made a habit of pooping on DS while he was asleep...everytime he was asleep.

Sometimes it was his chest, sometimes the top of his head, sometimes just on his pillow. You always knew it had happened, early in the morning. as he woke up, you'd hear crying & near cussing coming from his room....then he'd come bursting out, all of his bed linens it tow, and throw them out the front door.

We had 3 indoor/outdoor cats at the time, so we had no idea who was doing it. It took us about 4 or 5 poops to catch her.

He never has had any luck with animals....they don't seem to like him.

Oh they've all been checked out. This has been an ongoing issue since we moved into this particular house.
Come to find out an old woman who lived here was a hoarder once upon a time ago and had a bazillion cats in here. We found out after we moved in. I have to wonder if the smell of them has just permeated the house itself and the cats can still smell it.
