I've read some other threads on this, but none seem to address my problem.

One of my barred rocks is having diarrhea. It's brown, not bloody as far as I can tell, but it does have that diarrhea smell. They are 5 day olds. They are getting medicated started (Country Lane) and water, they are on pine shavings. No one has pasty butt, though I think this is one who had a bit of sticking poo yesterday. Suggestions? I was thinking of yogurt, but it looks like others have suggested not giving little chicks yogurt. Help please!

I'm so sorry to hear about your distressed chickies!

To be honest, I have no idea. Maybe you're feeding them something sketchy?...

Okay, I've been reading more and I'm guessing cocci is the most likely culprit? She isn't exhibiting any lack of oomph, she's still running around. They don't seem too cold, actually may be a bit warmer (the brooder light in on one side of their box, the food and water on the other, and they are sleeping in the middle. I'm wondering if I should separate her out, but I don't really have another place to put her (I only have one light). I'm changing their water twice a day.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing. Keep them warm, fed, watered, and comfortable. That's the best advice I can give. Good luck.
