Another First Egg!!!

I got another first egg today. It is green so it is definitely my sweet EE's first. She was so sweet when I went out to get it she came walking up to me, stood by my side, then followed me to the gate all the while talking to me. I swear she was telling me she was glad to give me that egg!

Well, that's 5 down and 3 more to go.

Congrats! I got a first egg today too. I was trying to figure out who it was, but I now know, because when I closed off the coop to work on the nesting boxes, she almost killed herself trying to get back in there. And when I re-opened the pop door she came in and lovingly looked through every crater she had made in the coop floor, trying to find her egg. She followed me around rubbing against my leg and talking to me, so I'm sure it was her egg and she wanted me to know it.

Oh my gosh RM44 that is exactly how my girl behaved! I thought it was just my imagination or something. None of my other girls have done that! She is my only EE and I love her. She is really, really sweet. When I first brought her home I had her on the side of my house and when I was trying to move them into the coop I was catching them one at a time to do it and after I moved the first two when I caught the third one and started to leave the temporary pen she jumped up on my shoulder/back of my head and refused to get down!! It was hilarious! I had to get my son to get her off of me cause I couldn't reach her. I think she has been my favorite ever since. I don't think collecting eggs is ever going to get boring either. I just love it. Thank you to all of you for helping make it that much more special with your support and well wishes!
