(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I currently have quail
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None but at this time I have 8 adults, 12 young child cks and eggs in the incubator.
I am regularly breeding them
(3) What breeds do you have?
Cotournix quail
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching their little personalities develop, interacting with them, providing enrichment, collecting eggs and watching the eggs hatch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, art and craft, building aquariums, paludariums etc, plant propagation,
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a mother in central VIC, AUS. trying to raise my family in a slower, more intentional and realistic way of life.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
