I have a sinking suspicion about the genders of my middle children, but I’d like to hear your opinion! Three are a couple days from being eight weeks old, and the frizzle and naked neck are six weeks old. The black one I am confident is a cockerel, he is bossy/bully and pecks me when I go to pick him up. He is a jersey giant/EE, him and the white and gold chicken all have the same sire of whom is an EE. I’m beginning to think Snow White is a boy! And that is my most friendly chicken, as evidenced by perching on my foot.

On an unrelated note, when will my frizzle get feathers on its head? He looks ridiculous.

Oh no… well I already planned on rehoming the black bird, he doesn’t have a very cheery personality and he’s already getting noisy. The white one has a wonderful temperament and is maturing into a beautiful bird so I will try to keep him… I have three five month old pullets but four more in the brooder so that should be adequate hens for one rooster right? As for my naked neck.. that’s Tiny Tina!! She can’t be a boy! :barnie

Oh wait, is the black and white frizzle the same bird in both pictures? It's likely a dude, sorry.
Yellow bird is your only girl.

Yes that is the same bird. I’m going to hope that you’re wrong but thank you! Lol. When my older pullets were young, people thought two of them were cockerels so I’m keeping my fingers crossed they’re just kinda manly girls!

Unfortunately I also agree...Only the one pullet, sorry I think you had bad odds.
