I have done weeks worth of research here on BYC about the dosing of Ivermectin pour-on. I have the dosage at 5 or 6 drops per standard adult bird or 1/2 cc. I went with the drop method dispensed via syringe and needle to allow me greater control at getting it directly on the skin. HOWEVER, being that the needle was 22 gauge, the drops seemed especially small (I now realize in retrospect). I did 31 birds with 5 or 6 drops per bird and only ended up using 1.5 ccs TOTAL! Yikes! Does that mean I should have used "bigger drops" like some directly out of the syringe? I fear I may have underdosed everyone

and will probably need to do them again. If so, I was thinking of waiting 10 days after the last dose since I know that's what would normally be done if I were using something like Wazine followed by Ivermectin...

Thanks for any direction you can give!!

I don't think i would have used the needle, for one think I probably would have ended up sticking into one of my birds or myself.. sounds like you probably didn't give them enough, so I don't see any reason why you couldn't do it again in 10 days.

Yep if there were getting the full mL dosage, I should have used over 15 mLs! (.5 mLs x 31 chickens = 15.5 mLs)
However going by "drops" I should have been giving them the correct dosage at 5-6 drops per chicken.
Just want to make sure and let people know for the future, that there are differences in the size of "drops"!
That never would have occurred to me
