I love that I have gotten to know you too Boyd. So many others here have become real friends.

And what is IKR????

Oh duh!!!!

I am sure anyone "paying it forward" in that manner probably follows posts by recipients just as a general rule, doncha think? I mean, if a need was discovered, then the interest in someone's situation has already been established.

Betcha whoever it is, is smiling very broadly at learning how much you appreciate the gesture!

People on BYC are just wonderful. I know I am incredibly glad I joined this community!

(Although I am wondering about that hatching bug I caught here... Not sure I needed that.)

Oh dear you caught that bug???? You are in really good company with that one. If I didn't have a bator, it would have cost us a FORTUNE to replace the chickens and ducks. I hatched my own chickens, and my friend Noseychickens brought me 17 duck eggs that are in the bator now.

My new OEG's have their own coop extension, and the entire coop, ponds, and enclosures have been moved away from the the property line. And the mini roo got his wings clipped after we found him on TOP of the hen house curled up next to the fake owl.

Oh Debi, I somehow missed your whole ordeal. I had to post stalk you to find it. What a tragic waste, so sorry that you had to go through that.

I am so glad that you have had so much kindness coming to you. You have helped make BYC the lovely, kind place that it is.

In that vein, iff ever you decide that you want some pretty little partidge silkies, let me know and I will send out some eggs to you. I also have some lovely Holderread Khaki Campbells who will have fertile eggs in the spring. They are just starting to lay, and holy moly are they fantastic layers. They are dirt colored, so a bit more hawk resistant. Let me know in spring, okay? I am also West Coast, so it should be a nice quick ship.

I wish I had thought of it first...

and had funds to spare. But you WILL get eggs in the spring. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, we are ALL better for having become your friend. And we love you.
