We are getting chicks in 15 days but at the moment they are eggs underneath a broody hen we are getting buff Orpingtons

Thanks so much for this informative post! I especially appreciate the second round of photos with definitive answers. I'm wondering about my little Calla. She's 4 weeks or so, and I'm new at guessing sexes. Her coloration and tail suggest roo to me, but her comb is quite small and she generally carries herself more like a pullet. Any thoughts?
