Another new member from CA

Hello:

We are currently raising 9 chicks - 5 Australorps and 4 Rhode Island Reds. They are 2 weeks old
and came from Cackle Hatchery in Missouri.

In years past my son was the designated chicken expert of the family (we've had chickens since 2001),
he is now grown so we are on our own with our nine girls.
I bought the book "Raising Chickens" by Gail Damerow to refresh my chicken raising skills and learn new things.
