Thanks all. Just got back from the run. I am trying to handle each girl everyday. They seem less skittish than 2 weeks ago and are growing. I can tell by how much higher their heads appear in the run. They love the run and are out as soon as the door opens. I installed the Pullet-Shut door which has a light sensor. Very happy with it and highly recommend it. I do a "bed check" every night . The girls have consistently put themselves to bed the last 4 days. I am sooo proud!

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. So sorry to hear your home suffered damage from Sandy. That was such a huge, powerful storm that even as far south as I live, it was rainy and windy from it. Very glad to hear you're enjoying your chickens
