Hi all! After viewing some horrid videos on YouTube about chicken factories I decided to raise my own chickens. Has anyone else seen these videos?!? I wanted to rescue all of those poor chickens!
My chicks are now 3 weeks old. I ordered them from Welp's Hatchery and so far so good. I have 21 altogether; a mix of Buff Orpingtons, Sicilian Buttercups, Brown Leghorns and Golden-laced Wyandottes. They'll have a good life here on Buttercup Hill.
I've never raised chickens before and I'm sure this site will be helpful!
