That sounds so lovely. I'm quite envious of you folk who can keep your fowls and not have to worry about the neighbours complaining. I look forward to hearing more.

In the winter i feed them more closer to the door. They knock on the door to get my attention. My duck knows when he comes in to go straight to the bathtub, water is already in the tub, jumps in for his bath, then joins his mate who comes in and enjoy their birdseed. Maybe they got me trained lol. Papa goose just looks in window and knocks and looks at the table to see if his food is ready. I had to teach big white geese not to be so grabby when taking food from my hand. Theres alot more. We'll keep this thread going and talk about it

Good stuff, how fun to read what all they know to do! Are your ducks and geese all around 2 years old?
 
The ones ive taught is 1+ years the younger ones will learn papa goose even trust me enough to let the gooslings in the house to hand feed not to get these ducklings trained thats why im glad to find this site i need all the advise i can get
 
Allears i have neighbors one upstairs and some a few steps away most help me feeds them but a few dont like them its a challange i hope someone dont complain before i have a chance to get these ducklings raised so they survive

Maybe they won't mind so much if you offer them any extra eggs?
 
LOL that is worth a try. My neighbours little children love to watch the goose do her "flying" practise. They are delighted as she runs up and down the garden flapping her wings first thing in the morning and then again late afternoon.
