Hi everyone,
After years of thinking about it I finally got my own backyard chickens in April. I started out with 8 one day old chicks, but 3 grew up to roosters and I had to rehome them. I still have one silkie who may or may not be a roo, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she is not. Earlier this week I bought 2 Golden Comets to replace the roosters and I think (hope) one is about to lay an egg.
Anyhow, I love my chickens and I love this forum, I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the great advice! Thank You!
