I've been lurking for a few weeks, and joined 2 weeks ago, and am finally posting! A new grandson, daughter visiting, and a hectic life in general has prevented it until now!
I have been reading posts every day though, and am in the middle of reading Raising Chickens for Dummies, a wonderful book!
I have 25 chicks hatching on April 7, will be here hopefully the next day. I wanted 6, somehow husband decided 25 would be better!
I'm definitely excited, but of course have many questions!
I'm also thrilled to meet you all, I can tell this is definitely a "chicken-loving" community!
