Thanks everyone for all the great welcomes, and the input. I will try to post photos of Rod's comb. It has indeed been getting a little colder here, but the purple tips have been around for about a month which would put us back in hot weather. Is fowl pox related to chicken pox? Would the hens be showing signs of it too? I realize that I should be posting this on the illness forum but didnt want to lose the thread. Thanks again. Kat
