Did Ya Happen To Get An Autoturner With Your Hovabator? They Help Dramatically. Also A Real Thermometer/hygrometer Unit--- Take The 1 Hovabator Sent You And Chuck It In The Garbage

THE STANDARD TURNER RACKS WILL WORK WITH MODIFICATION---- TAKE QUAIL SHIPPER FLATS AND CUT THEN TO FIT YOUR STANDARD RACK THEN SIMPLY USE RUBBERBANDS OR TAPE TO SECURE THEM TO THE TOP SIDE OF THE RACKS= 1 REDNECK QUAIL TURNER

BEST UNITS I HAVE FOUND FOR OUTTA THE BOX ACCURACY AND A PRICE THAT CANT BE BEAT IS THE SPRINGFIELD UNITS FROM WALMART--- LESS THAN 8 BUCKS IN MOST CASES. SMALL WHITE COMBO UNIT THAT GOES INSIDE THE BATOR AT PREFERRABLY THE SAME LEVEL AS THE TOP OF YOUR EGGS.

FOR STILL AIR YOU WANT TO KEEP THE TEMP 100.5 AT THE LEVEL OF THE TOP OF YOUR EGGS. TURN FOR 14 DAYS THEN STOP TURNING, INCREASE HUMIDITY AND LET 'EM HATCH... I PERSONALLY SET MY EGGS IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION FOR HATCHING AS THIS HELPS INCREASE THE SUCESSFUL HATCH RATE A BIT.

YOU CAN ADD A FAN IF YOU LIKE, ITS NOT HARD. THEY'RE READILY AVAILABLE ON EBAY OR FROM RADIO SHACK... USE A COMPUTER FAN (120 VOLT, NOT 12 VOLT... JUST WIRE IT IN AND LET IT GO... HARDEST PART IS FIGURING WHICH WAY TO POINT DOWN SO IT IS MOVING WARM AIR AROUND AND NOT SUCKING IT OUT OF THE BATOR

FORCED AIR WILL INCREASE YOUR HATCHES WITH NEARLY ALL SPECES OF BIRD BUT ISNT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. COTURNIX DO QUITE WELL IN STILL AIR BATORS. AND AS MANY HAVE ELUDED TO PREVIOUSLY I HATCH IN STILL AIR ONLY.

IF YOUR THRIFTY AND TALENTED... OR JUST CHEAP LIKE ME START WATCHING FOR OLD COMPUTERS THAT ARE DOOMED TO BE JUNKED AND TAKE THE FANS OUT OF THEM.. I HAVE 3 THAT NEED TO BE CANNIBALIZED ( IT WAS X-MAS TIME AND I WAS TOO BUSY TO GET TO THEM...) AND 2 READY TO GO FANS IN MY SPARE PARTS BOX
