Another newbie here

Hello all. I am new the chickens in general. Friends gave us some of their fresh chicken eggs, and I got the bug to raise our own. Yesterday we bought the supplies, a starter kit, coop, and put the chick's in their brooder. Eeeek. Can't believe I'm doing this! Only wanted 2 chick's to start, but they only sold in 4s...so 4 chick's it is. They all have flower names, Rose, Lily, Daisy and Iris. Photo of my daughter and hubby purchasing our chicks..
