If you have weasels in your area, your birds are at risk. Your coop could also be invaded by mice. The wire on your coop will allow entry for both.

We are in Southeast Missouri. Coop is made with hardware cloth and should be fine. Dog pen is chain link and will be covered in hardware cloth or chicken wire 3 feet up and sunk 1 foot in ground. I will also be surrounded with concrete blocks after wire is sunk in ground. Will also be covering top with chicken wire of hardware cloth. Temps should be in 70 to 80 range in days and 50 to 60 at night. There is a 3 foot or so area between coop and run I will need to connect those together. Any ideas? Thanks!

What size are the openings in the hardware cloth? It looks like 1"x1"?
