Hi guys! Finally became a member after a few good months of finding myself back on this forum everytime I searched the internet for something about chickens!! no matter what I hunted for.. this forum seems to have the answers for everything!
a few basic facts:
One day I was at the horse feed store and saw 1 day old chicks for sale and I knew what my next critters were going to be....I now have 2 young ISA brown chickens (supposably ISA browns...) in my backyard ( I live in the city) who are very healthy and happy!
I have grown up 'outdoors' with horses and cattle and things but I am a chook novice.
I hope to have a couple of happy hens who provide a few eggs here and there but are great company as well!
