Hi! I live in NY and have a flock of 11 chickens, all of which are cockerals and pullets. I have two Brahma cross cockerals, one of them is probably a Rhode Island Red cross and is called Red (I know it's not very creative
) and the other is a mottled pattern I think. His name is Marvin and he is a very... unique in appearance. I also have a Brahma cross pullet. She is black with white marks on her chest and was named Blackie (I didn't name her). I have two grey (I think it's supposed to be called blue, but that implies that they're dyed) Silkies. One Silkie is a cockeral and the other I hope is a pullet, it crows but acts like hen, and I have heard of crowing hens. I have two Polish chickens, a Golden Laced pullet called Zarra and a White Crested Black cockeral called Phillip. I have four Bantam chickens, two cockerals and two pullets. The two cockerals are Frizzles, the black one is named Sargeant and the red is Houdini. The two pullets are a Barred Cochin called Princess and a red that didn't get the frizzling gene called Susie. I hope to get an incubater soon and see some genetics at work
I know it's too many cockerals, but honestly they are all angels and it sort of works out as breeding pairs.
