Yes i have wanted them for years and now i finally have a yard to keep them in.

How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Internet search on how to make a safe chicken coop and run...i got it hardwire cloth everywhere buried a foot down, so that's what i did

My wife and I have 3 kids and live in the pacific northwest in Oregon.

That's what I read on here, I have 3 little kids so I did not want grumpy birds

around them. I hear they are good layers to. I am about half way to finding that out though...Thanks for the welcome.
