Another Nor Cal intro!

Hi everyone! We have been chicken dreaming for years, and my husband finally decided we should go for it in our new house with a larger side yard. We are in the SF Bay Area with a suburban backyard. We have 6 barred rock chicks that are almost a week old, 2 dogs, 1 cat, an aquarium with tetras, shrimp, snail and I’m basically living my childhood pet dream

oh yeah, 2 sweet little kids.

We homeschool (even outside of this time!!) and are staying on trend with our 1 year old sourdough starter baby. So many questions about coops but that’s for another thread!!
