Another Okie and a Newbie

Just found this page. I am another Okie and also a newbie with Chickens. Never been exposed - now I've caught the fever. Have 11 backyard chickens - half grown and 1 absolutely fall on your face beautiful rooster - in my humble opinion. Enjoying this immensely. Have been reading, reading, reading on BYC trying to learn to care for my flock. I also have 7 guineas that I am not quite so happy with. May be giving them away.

I'm new to OK and chickens we just got 8 chicks. My husband is an experienced chicken guy so I'm not going at it alone.

Yes, loud. But, I don't mind that. They are bullying my shyest (is that a word) chicken. She's been injured and doesn't venture out far - when she does they bully her.​
