Some of you may have seen my post a few days ago with the pics of my chic with the top of her beak chipped off. Well, today we discovered *another* hen with the exact same problem. What in the world is going on?? What causes that? I *think* they are eating and drinking ok. Or at least, I pretty much know the first one is as I've been watching her closely the last few days since we discovered her beak was chipped. But today is their first day outside and I do know that those two are panting much more than the others. They have all been shown the water and food, so they know where it is.
If this keeps up, I'll have a whole flock of broken beaked chickens.
