Another question..I feel like such a bugger...chicken feed question...

Will medicated food hurt my chicks? They are 7 weeks old and have been on Unmedicated food so far...I just bought medicated...will it do any harm that I started it this late?

I don't think so. It is probably good for them to have some medicated feed to help prevent coccidiosis infection as adults. You can feed medicated chick feed to chicks at that age and much older.

Mine are 12 weeks old, and have always been on medicated chick feed. I don't think it will hurt them to switch them over.
