This was another random bantam from the Atwoods bin. I had to take it b/c it was so doofy looking. It shrieked for the first two days and stands a head taller than the other chicks. Any idea on breed/sex?

If it is a pea comb, then it looks like a dark Brahma rooster. I have one a little more feathered than that one that is a pullet and it has NO red in the comb.

I agree with Shelly - looks like a dark Brahma to me. (Really, my first thought was "Atwoods still has chicks?!!" )

Definitely not a silver-laced wyandotte. I'm thinking dark brahma too.

I saw a slightly older dark brahma someone posted a few down, and it looks just like this poor thing. Looks like we have a winner! Thanks, once again. [IMG]
