People Eating Tasty Animals... oh yeah.....
they had a story on the news about a 'husky' that was neglected so i contacted the shelter and said since it was winter i was non-farming and did they need someone to rehab the poor dog? i got the big NO but 4 months later they contacted me to see if i wanted to adopt.
first it was a pomeranian with blue eyes
next she was completely nuts. the shelter was totally full, understaffed, and no one was taking any of the animals home. i could only shake my head sadly and say that no i couldnt take her - if they had let me rehab her at home she would have been part of a pack, had constant attention, a schedule, peace and quiet... etc. but they let her be 'institutionalized' with limited care. what a shame.
i've decided people are crazy.
i'm gonna go have some of my roo stew now

ps i hated them darn pigs all summer. now they are no problem at all....
