Jeez, am I the only one who remembers The Ramones and the S.x Pistols?

My mother, who listened to Peter, Paul & Mary at the time, was sure I was some sort of horrible monster.

LOL, gurl they are hard to drive! I had my daughter drive it on the back roads and she was sooo scared!! They pull really hard and trucks pull them into their lanes!! VERY scary for first time drivers

Unfortunately no. I took that pic in Florida, it was at a restaurant (old Victorian house) I'm sure the owners were ex hippies! Probably was their bus.

I was just a wee one during most of the 70's but I still remember my older brothers and sisters fads, tastes in clothes and decorating. At the time nothing seemed 'out there' but looking back.

The hip huggers, halter tops, platform shoes, sequins, ruffles, lava lamps, rubick's cube, (does anyone remember knicker knockers lol) feathered hair, 8 mm movies, magic 8 balls, peace sign designs allll over the place, Jethro Tull, and toga parties (yeah you know you went to them too.) LOL I can still see the walls of our basement , which happened to be concrete, my sister decided to decorate them ..........she took a plastic six pack can holder and spray painted that circular design all over the walls with neon orange and green paint . She had one of those black lights and disco ball on continuously so you always felt like you were stepping back in time when you went into the basement.
